Occupations

The census records were analysed to show the occupations of Men, Women and Children.

Graphs were plotted to show trends in occupation.

The census records may not show the full picture for two reasons:-

1. People had more than one occupation but only their main one was recorded.

2. Work was seasonal and the censuses were taken at the end of March / beginning of April.
